felicity goes to "work"

i teach art at an elementary school (best job ever!) and at the end of the year i have parties for my best behaved classes. most of the classes wanted a movie/ pj/ toy party. so i brought felicity to school/work with me!!

we brought our matching pillow pets and our fleece blankets and made a cozy little pallet to watch the movies with my students.

we tried this mexican hazelnut candy that you eat with a tiny little spoon, it was yummy!

in between classes we played on the computer. of course we checked out dolldiaries.com (my fav doll website)

hey look this is my felicity and molly on dolldiaries.com when we won a give away-- it's like they are famous lol!

felicity also met lots of new friends that my students brought with them!

the second day she came she met three amercian girls and had a great time getting to know them and their dogs.

felicity also got to join in with a small group of students that i meet with each month. i was reading toys go out to them. it is such a funny book... i highly recommend it! it's a whole series but this is the only one i've read so far.

felicity loved being a part of my daily life and seeing what it was like to be in my school. we even packed her a lunch.

i wish i could have my little pal with me everyday. it was so fun introducing her to my students, who of course feel in love with her :)

  1. Hi Lissy,

I'm a pre-school teacher (bestest job ever! LOL)Once a week my kids have sharing day. I'm not bold enough to bring one of my 18" dolls, but my Bitty Twinnie Anissa has come w/ me twice. One of my youngest boys, Evan, just fell in love w/ her! He hugged her and sang her lullabies, (well, just one, Rock A Bye Baby), and didn't want anyone else to have a turn w/ her b/c she was "his" doll. When I bring in my old AG catalogs for the kids to practice cutting, he HAS to have the picture of Anissa that's almost always on the back page (she's a blond Bitty Twinnie). He has his own dolls at home, but he tells his mom they're not as good as Anissa.

  2. It is fun to take them to work and share them, when I worked at T-Mobile Marsali came with me every day and she became our team mascot and it was so fun. We only had one dude that was freaked out when she was set to look at him, so of course the other guys on the team loved to come get her and set her somewhere so she was looking at him.

    Hugs,
    TracyAnn
