Christmas Day Part III: Home Again Home Again

Later Christmas Day Molly and Felicity came home and the BFFs came over to celebrate.

"Welcome home girls! Have you had a nice Christmas so far?"
"Yes, but we have missed you!"

Caroline, DeeDee, and Emily were so excited to see the other girls as well. There was lots of hugging and carrying on as the girls came in and greeted one another.

"Felicity, Molly, girls, come quick to see what Santa has left us!" Rebecca was overcome with excitement about her new Christmas kitties! She was bursting trying to wait for them to get there.
Being a huge animal lover, Felicity instantly scooped them right up!

Rebecca carried on about her new little friends as Samantha offered the guests treats and drinks.

Then the gift unveiling began!

Addy was so happy to see her treasured family quilt!

They were all excited about the beautiful love seat Santa left.
How do you suppose Santa got this here? Hmmm.

Felicity was thrilled to find her Chocolate Set!
"It's so special that Santa found this for me, since you can't buy it in the store anymore!"

Rebecca loved the little bracelet with a Star of David charm she found in the stocking.

Samantha was excited to have a table easel to paint on.
"And look at the interesting painting that Santa left on the easel!"

Kirsten pulled a little black cat softie out of the stocking and also found a sweet little box of candies with a little girl and cat painted on it.

Molly liked the jolly snowman tea set that was under the tree.

Addy was excited to show Kirsten the books from under the tree.
"Look Kirsten they are your short stories!"

And Felicity was glad to see Santa remembered the Pottery Barn Doll she had asked him for.
"Emily she is a "red-head" just like us!"

There were lots of other treats and toys in the stockings!

"Would anyone like a chocolate covered peppermint stick?"

Samantha offered the candy and said, "Girls what did Santa bring you at Grammy's house?"

"Oh I got this lovely Hello Kitty tea set!" said Emily in her charming British accent.

"And I received these beautifully painted rustic dishes!"

"Look I got this fun gingerbread house puzzle!"

"Santa left me a soft robe and cozy slippers!" Molly exclaimed
"And he gave me a watch, earrings, and a Hello Kitty clock!" added Felicity.

Once the girls had seen all the gifts it was time to play, and chat, and eat, and continue to make merry!!

Rebecca and Samantha picked a record to listen to on the new phonograph.

Felicity, Addy, and DeeDee admired the gingerbread houses and snacked.

"It sure has been a wonderful Christmas hasn't it Emily!"
"Indeed, Molly. And I'm delighted to be a part of it all!"
"Yes, we are very blessed to have each other and to get to all be together!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!
...AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Did you have a nice Christmas? What was the best part?

Christmas Day Part II: Awoken with a "Nudge"

Very early Christmas morning the gifts from Santa were arranged nicely awaiting the moment the girls would wake to find them!

But there was one little something not so patiently or quietly waiting...

Rebecca was sound asleep when she felt a tickle on her cheek and a tiny paw upon her face and a teeny wet nose nudge her own nose. She slowly opened her eyes to find a kitten playing in her curls. At first in her drowsy state she thought she was still dreaming but then jumped up with a bit of a shock and squealed!

"OH MY WHO LET THIS CAT IN THE HOUSE!!??"

"Wha-Wha-What...What's the matter? What are you screaming about?!"
"A kitten! There was a kitten in my hair!" replied Rebecca excitedly.
"Oh Beckie you are so dramatic, I'm sure you were dreaming."

Addy and Kirsten came to see what the commotion was all about. It was at that time that MissyMeowMeow found TWO kittens hiding under the tree!
"Look Sam!" said Kirsten sweetly, "There are kittens, Rebecca was serious!"
"Oh aren't they cute!" all the girls cried.
Addy found a note from Santa telling Rebecca they were for her and to keep an extra eye on the tan and white one.

"Yes, he is the pest that was playing in my hair and nudged my nose to wake me with a fright! I will call him Nudge which is a Yiddish word for pest!" said Rebecca with a loving giggle and a pat on his head. "And this pretty white kitten shall be named Pearl White after the famous actress I so admire!"

"Nudge and MissyMeowMeow seem to be getting along just dandy!" said Addy.
"Yes, I think they will become very good friends!" agreed Kirsten.
"They can be the Three Mus-Cat-Teers!" Rebecca said as they all busted out in laughter.

It wasn't until then that they realized there were all kinds of new things in the living room that Santa had left for them!
"Ladies look at all these gift!" gasped Samantha!
"Oh my heavens above!" sighed Addy as her eyes trailed around the room.
"Don't look too closely! Let's get dressed and get out the party treats before the other girls get home. Then we can open everything together." said Kirsten

Christmas Day Part I: At Grammy's

Christmas morning at my mom's (A.K.A Grammy's) is always chaos with the whole big family there. Felicity and I were excited to see my nieces had brought Julie and Kit with them.

Kit and Felicity both got the same dress for Christmas so my niece and I wanted to take some pictures of them together. Aren't they so cute! Kit also got new glasses for Christmas.

And I gave this outfit to my other niece for Julie for Christmas.

My niece loved posing Kit and Felicity! Here they are dancing.

And starting a conga line

And being very Vogue back to back.

"HEY GUYS WHAT ABOUT ME!!"

"Wow Julie I really like your new glasses!"
"Thanks Felicity, aren't they groovy!"
Julie got new glasses for Christmas too!

Even my littlest niece got glasses for her doll Rosie!
I guess Santa was thinking they all have bad vision.
It was a wild and crazy Christmas with my family as always, but it was tons of fun!!
Stay tuned to see what happened when we got back to my home!

Christmas Eve Part II: Back Home

While The Bffs were nestled in for a long Winter's nap the girls back at my home were preparing as well.

Because it is tradition they also read The Night Before Christmas.

Addy read it aloud with her perfect teacher voice and showed the illustrations on each page just as a teacher would.

Samantha, Rebecca, and Kirsten were captivated by Addy's good story telling techniques.

When the story was over they put out a big pile of cookies, candy canes, and milk for Santa.

"Kirsten, can you believe that Santa Claus will be here in our little house any minute!"

"I know Addy! It's so exciting! We better get to sleep fast!"

"Psst, Samantha, do you think we will hear Santa when he is leaving our presents under the tree?"

"Of course not Rebecca. Santa is like magic. He can do his job so quickly and quietly you won't even know he's come and gone. Now go to sleep so he can come!"

Soon, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Just as Samantha told Rebecca, Santa came and went without a sound. The girls slept deeply though his entire visit.
But what Santa left for the girls was stirring and it did wake them in the morning...
