bff adventures: florida part 5

 tarpon springs
so tarpon springs is down near tampa. it is an area that many greeks settled in to dive for sponges. they make their living on natural sponges and tourists. it's cool and cultural!

as you walk down the street popping in and out of shops there are boats and boats and boats lined up along the docks. the one in these pictures has sponges hanging to dry.
this statue was made in honor of all the divers of tarpon springs.

this was my favorite store. it had so many cool shells and sponges.

a pile of sponges makes a good resting place lol

aaahhhh!!! attack gator and blow fish!!

the bowl sponges are so awesome! this one is big enough for molly to stand in!

this is one heck of a steering wheel huh!!

we spent quite a bit of time in this store... it's so cool! all the people of tarpon are so sweet and appreciative of the buisness you do.

and here we are at the parthenon. j.k. :) hehehe
no this was taken in a fabulous greek resturant that we had dinner in after shopping!

after dinner we drove down to the tarpon springs beach to watch an amazing sun set.

the tide was way out and the water was so calm!

there were tons of little shells so we collected a bunch!

it was kinda funny when we were taking these photos on the rocks because there were a bunch of couples being all mushy and romantic t-hehehehe :P

there is nothing more beautiful than sitting on a beach watching the sun drop all the way down past the horizon line.
