Very early Christmas morning the gifts from Santa were arranged nicely awaiting the moment the girls would wake to find them!
But there was one little something not so patiently or quietly waiting...
Rebecca was sound asleep when she felt a tickle on her cheek and a tiny paw upon her face and a teeny wet nose nudge her own nose. She slowly opened her eyes to find a kitten playing in her curls. At first in her drowsy state she thought she was still dreaming but then jumped up with a bit of a shock and squealed!
"OH MY WHO LET THIS CAT IN THE HOUSE!!??"
"Wha-Wha-What...What's the matter? What are you screaming about?!"
"A kitten! There was a kitten in my hair!" replied Rebecca excitedly.
"Oh Beckie you are so dramatic, I'm sure you were dreaming."
Addy and Kirsten came to see what the commotion was all about. It was at that time that MissyMeowMeow found TWO kittens hiding under the tree!
"Look Sam!" said Kirsten sweetly, "There are kittens, Rebecca was serious!"
"Oh aren't they cute!" all the girls cried.
Addy found a note from Santa telling Rebecca they were for her and to keep an extra eye on the tan and white one.
"Yes, he is the pest that was playing in my hair and nudged my nose to wake me with a fright! I will call him Nudge which is a Yiddish word for pest!" said Rebecca with a loving giggle and a pat on his head. "And this pretty white kitten shall be named Pearl White after the famous actress I so admire!"
"Nudge and MissyMeowMeow seem to be getting along just dandy!" said Addy.
"Yes, I think they will become very good friends!" agreed Kirsten.
"They can be the Three Mus-Cat-Teers!" Rebecca said as they all busted out in laughter.
It wasn't until then that they realized there were all kinds of new things in the living room that Santa had left for them!
"Ladies look at all these gift!" gasped Samantha!
"Oh my heavens above!" sighed Addy as her eyes trailed around the room.
"Don't look too closely! Let's get dressed and get out the party treats before the other girls get home. Then we can open everything together." said Kirsten
